Dutch based N+P is a pioneer, with over 30 years of experience, in the development of concepts to utilize non-recyclable waste streams as alternative fuels or alternative raw materials. N+P’s developments are heavily focused around bridging waste to value, reducing the necessity to landfill materials but upgrading them into high quality alternatives for fossil based commodities.
In the transition from a linear waste management model to a circular economy and closed-loop recycling systems, N+P develops Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) which play an integral role in recovering high-quality recyclates that replace primary resources and fossil fuels. N+P have multiple offices and production locations in Europe, with a turnover of approx. 275 million per annum.
We are looking for someone who ensures the smooth and efficient operation of all administrative processes within the growing N+P organization.
Most important tasks, activities and responsibilities:
- Managing, coaching and supporting financial administrative staff at the head office in Nieuw-Bergen (NL), at various other locations, namely Rotterdam, Farmsum (NL), Crayford, Teesside and Hartlepool (UK) and emerging locations. This also includes assessing employees and ensuring optimal staffing. Presence at the locations mentioned is occasionally necessary.
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks (accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, etc.) and implementing strategies to enhance overall productivity and effectiveness.
- Functioning as a “trouble shooter” on projects, suppliers and logistic partners.
- Key User of the ERP system Business Central. This includes actively thinking about system improvements.
- Looking beyond your own team and working positively with other departments within the company. Especially with the wider finance team and commercial teams.
- Other work that contributes to the overall success of the organization: signaling, reporting, supporting monthly closing process for the finance department, etc.
- Support to develop key KPI’s for the administrative team that support business decision making.
- HBO/Bachelor working and thinking level
- At least 3-5 years of managerial experience
- Be familiar with (carrying out) financial administrative work
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- The potential and talent to quickly master our ERP system Business Central
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English is required, both verbally and in writing
